In order to provide an efficient service we will need to collect, use and retain details such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and other relevant details including medical details, in order to validate and process your claim.

Where necessary we collect personal information from you and/or your GP, hospital, employer, insurer, police etc.

This is only done with permission from you and the information we collect is only used for the purpose of pursuing your claim or to comply with current regulations and legislation.

The information we collect is used to enable us to obtain compensation from the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) and/or any relevant third party insurer.

2. Information Disclosure

On acceptance of this privacy policy and unless and until we receive any written instructions to the contrary, you agree that we can share your personal information with the MIB and/or any relevant third party insurer and/or any expert we may need to instruct in connection with your claim.

We do not disclose the information provided to any third party, except as stated in this Privacy Policy or with your express permission.

3. Retention of Information

After your claim is completed we hold your personal information safely on file for a period of one year. It will then be destroyed unless we receive a written request to the contrary. There are no storage charges.

4. Child Protection

We will only collect data relating to children with parental consent, and only when necessary for us to manage a claim.

5. Confidentiality

Secure transmission methods are used when it is appropriate to share your personal information. We hold all personal information on a secure server and all personnel with access to this data are fully aware of their obligation to respect the confidentiality of all information received.

6. Client access to Information held

You can ask for a copy of any information we hold on you by written request for a fee of £10. For security reasons we will require proof of identity. You have the right to question the data we hold and where appropriate this data can be corrected or deleted if necessary.

7. Privacy Compliance
